Headphones and sessions

Which headphones work?

Models with head-tracking motion sensors: AirPods Pro (all generations), AirPods (3rd generation and later) and AirPods Max. They need to be in your ears and connected to the iPhone, not in the case.

The app says it can't see my AirPods' motion.
A walk or a sitting didn't start or stop on its own.

Walks start when your iPhone counts steps and the headphones move; a short stop at a door or a light keeps the same walk. Sittings end when you stand up, walk away or take the headphones out. You can always start or stop a session yourself from the home screen. If it keeps happening, email us: we tune this from real cases.

Why doesn't it record with the app closed?

iOS only lets the app read headphone motion while it's running. Leave it open or in the background; if you swipe it away, sessions stop.

Apple Health

How do I turn Apple Health on or off?

Apple Health integration is part of Premium. Turn it on in the app, then choose what to share in the Health app → Sharing → Apps → BodySignals. You can switch any category off there at any time.

Premium

How do I restore Premium on a new phone?

Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the app, and tap Restore Purchases on the Premium screen or in Profile → Account.

How do I cancel?

Settings → your name → Subscriptions → BodySignals → Cancel Subscription, or tap Manage subscription in Profile. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Premium stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

Where is my data, and how do I delete it?

Your sessions and scores are stored only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them. Walks already saved to Apple Health stay in Health until you delete them there. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Is BodySignals a medical device?

No. It helps you notice posture habits and doesn't diagnose or treat anything. If you have pain or a diagnosed condition, talk to a doctor or physiotherapist.
